by Data Top 10 Grapher 2020. 3. 11.

[Wuhan pneumonia]

Wuhan Pneumonia (New Coronavirus Infection) is an acute respiratory syndrome first reported on December 12 that began in Wuhan, Hubei, China on December 1, 2019. It is now widely spread outside China due to the departure of infected people. Due to the rapid spread of the epidemic, the number of infected people and deaths are increasing rapidly, the entire city function of Wuhan is paralyzed and the whole country is in turmoil. Respiratory syndrome caused by unreported infections of corona viruses such as SARS and MERS.

The following article can be found in the yearly deaths of pneumonia by country from 1990 to 2017 video which I made by self.

In 1990, the number one death of respiratory disease infection(pneumonia) was India. In India about 750,000 people died by pneumonia. Second place was China, where more than half a million people died. It was confirmed that the first and second places differ greatly from the countries below the third place. India and China have a large population, but the country is seriously polluted. This can be seen to some extent that there is a relationship between environmental pollution and pneumonia.

In 1995, the first and second ranks remained the same, but India saw a slight reduction in deaths, while China saw a significant reduction in deaths. And Japan was in the top ten and the United States was still in eighth place.

In 2005, China, the second-largest, became third place with half of the deaths from pneumonia. In Nigeria, on the other hand, the number of deaths was the same, but it became second. The first place was still India, where the number of deaths decreased but still overwhelming deaths. The United States became in fourth rank and Japan in fifth rank.

In 2010, overall pneumonia deaths decreased, but Japan rose to fourth place over the United States, with the deaths increasing. Brazil and the Philippines also see an increase in deaths.

In 2015, India's deaths by pneumonia is decreased, but all of the fourth to seventh countries became an increase in deaths. It is noteworthy that both developed countries such as Japan and the United States and developed countries such as Brazil and the Philippines have increased.

Recently, in 2017, Japan shows more than 100,000 deaths. Countries that are third to sixth ranks are increasing the number of deaths from pneumonia.
