Wine refers to alcohol that fermented juice from crushed grapes. It is the fruit wine among the brews in the manufacturing method. Today, the alcohol content of wine is usually between 13-15%. Wines are divided into red wine, white wine, and rose wine. This is a classification based on the color of the wine. The color depends on whether the grape juice and fermented red grape skin and seeds are fermented together.

Italian wines such as 'Rocca Cerrina', 'Duchessa', 'Banfi Tiara' and 'Villa' are popular. Good value merchandise such as American wine "Carlo Rossi" and Spanish wine "Les Hauts de Chamboustin" is popular.

In 1961, France, the country of wine, came first. France consumed 20 liters of alcohol in wine. It is about 13 degrees of wine, so in France, on average, about 200 bottles of wine a year. Italy, Portugal, Argentina, Luxembourg, Sao Tome and Principe, Uruguay, Hungary, South Africa and Romania were in the top ten. You can see that Latin America and European countries are in the rankings.

 

In 1971, Italy ranked first and France fell to second. Argentina came third, and Portugal fell fourth. Luxembourg was still fifth and Spain, Chile, Switzerland and Greece were among the top ten.

 

In 1981, Argentina ranked first and ranks changed, but up to fourth place the same countries. And we can see that the nations that were previously in the rankings are still in the top ten. The most representative wines are from Argentina, France, Portugal, Italy and Chile.

 

In 1991, Argentina still ranked first in wine consumption, and up to five countries saw the same. And the overall wine consumption is reduced. New additional countries is Croatia and Austria. Graph shows that wine consumption is very high in Europe.

 

In 2003, Portugal ranked first and Argentina's wine consumption plummeted. And new countries like Andorra and Equatorial Guinea have been added. Andorra is a small country between Catalonia and France. Equatorial Guinea, as its name suggests, is a country located in the equator and consumes a lot of miramba made from palm and sugarcane.

 

In 2014, France regained the top spot, while Croatia and Portugal were still in the top three. And in the top ten, Moldova and Belgium were added. Top 10 representative wine brands are Barefoot, Concha Toro, Gallo, Changyu, Yellow Tail, Sutter Home, Robert Mondavi, Hardys, Beringer, and Great Wall.
